Who provides the service and what these terms cover
FTM is currently a project operated by an individual. A Latvian company is planned but is not yet the service provider. These draft terms cover the website, account features and API. The current operator’s full name and legally required contact/address details must be confirmed before the terms are finalized.
Once finalized and properly presented for acceptance where needed, the terms will form the basis for use of the service. A privacy notice explains processing; it is not a request for blanket consent to all processing.
Access and your account
You must have the legal capacity to enter the relevant agreement. If acting for an organization, you must be authorized to do so. Provide an email address you control, protect your credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Access to monitoring, API and administrative features depends on your account permissions. A sign-in or permission does not give you rights to another person’s account or to restricted source data.
Acceptable use
- Use the service and its data for lawful purposes and respect other people’s privacy.
- Do not bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits or restrictions on personal identifiers.
- Do not disrupt the service, introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Use automated access within the limits and interfaces made available to you. Do not evade limits by rotating accounts or other identifiers.
- Do not use public records for harassment, unlawful discrimination or unlawful disclosure of personal information.
Data sources, accuracy and monitoring
FTM organizes information from other sources. Imports may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable, and historical information may no longer describe a company’s current position. Verify important facts with the relevant authority.
The service does not provide individual legal, tax, investment or credit advice. Monitoring is a convenience for detected changes, not a guarantee that every change or statutory deadline will be reported. These explanations do not remove any mandatory service-quality obligations.
Content, exports and API use
Rights in source records remain subject to applicable law and the source’s licence or reuse conditions. Availability on FTM does not grant unrestricted rights to all underlying data. Preserve required source attribution and comply with restrictions when reusing information.
FTM’s own interface, branding and original content are protected to the extent provided by law. You remain responsible for the information you submit to support and must have the right to share it. FTM may use that information to handle your request as described in the Privacy Policy.
Charges and additional services
FTM is currently free to use. There is no subscription charge for the current service. If paid features are introduced, their price, taxes, duration, renewal, cancellation and applicable consumer rights must be clearly disclosed before you choose to order. Continued use of the current free service does not authorize a new charge.
Additional API or commercial terms must be made available before the relevant agreement. They cannot override mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
Availability, restrictions and ending use
Maintenance, source outages and security incidents can interrupt features. If access must be restricted for a security risk, unlawful use or a material breach, the restriction should be proportionate; reasons and a way to contact support should be provided unless doing so is prohibited or would undermine security.
You can stop using FTM and request account deletion through the Account page or contact us. The email-confirmation process helps prevent unauthorized deletion. Retention exceptions and public registry records are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Responsibility and your legal rights
Each party remains responsible under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes statutory consumer remedies, data-protection rights or the right to seek compensation where the law provides it.
If you use FTM as a consumer, any applicable rights concerning digital services, conformity, remedies and withdrawal remain available. Their application depends on the service and agreement; these general terms are not a waiver.
Questions, complaints and disputes
Contact FTM first with the issue and the resolution you seek. For a consumer complaint covered by Latvian consumer law, a reasoned response is normally due within 15 working days; applicable rules on extensions must also be followed.
If a consumer dispute remains unresolved, you may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) and, where competent, the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission. Privacy complaints may be submitted to the Data State Inspectorate (DVI).
Latvian law applies, subject to mandatory protections available under applicable EU and consumer law. This does not prevent a consumer from using a court or dispute route available under mandatory jurisdiction rules.
Changes to these terms
The finalized terms should show their effective date and version. Material changes affecting accounts should be communicated before they take effect, with any notice and agreement required by law. Changes must not retroactively remove accrued rights.
The date above identifies this draft, not the start of a binding agreement.
